Causes of Disease, Emotions

Do you know that feeling of pain and tenseness when you feel stress?  Often you feel it in your shoulders.  We have become aware that stress carried in the heart causes heart attacks.  What if you held stress in your stomach?  Ulcer and indigestion may occur.  Are you getting to see a pattern here?  Once we acknowledge the pattern, common sense will tell us that where ever we carry our stress is where disease can develop.  Though there are other causes of disease, stress is likely the most harmful because even if the other causes of disease; nutrition, body detoxification and allergy are in check, stress can still disrupt the system and drag our vitality down to the level of chronic disease.

So how do we get stress in the first place?  It could come to us through our DNA, a stress pattern passed down from our parents, or it could come to us as an unreasonable belief, usually from early childhood before we had the wisdom to work through a fear or problem in an adult way.  Which ever the source, the results are the same, tension, or disruptive energy in a body tissue.  When you give a big sigh of relief, you can feel the pent up energy release.  Energy held, energy released, where does the energy come from?  It can only come from our thoughts.  Thought patterns are converted to electrical pulses that can be imprinted into tissue and held.  When ever anything around this pattern presents itself we will feel the activation of the pattern where we have stored it. (He makes my skin crawl).   Even more importantly, we will react to it in the same way we have in the past, even if it has not worked.

I remember a time when I was young; we had gone to visit relatives that lived two hours away.  When it was time for desert I had a piece of coconut cream pie.  On the way home I got sick.  Whether it was the drive or that the flu struck at that moment, I’m not sure, but to this day the smell of coconut cream pie nauseates me.  You probably have had an incidence like this your self.  This shows you how we can store memory.  We used to be stuck with these patterns, but now there are ways to neutralize them so they no longer create problems.  Just think, you can have access to ways of eliminating most of the things that bother you.  When you neutralize emotions you are able to be powerful in how you respond and at the same time you’ll be removing the stressors that could be responsible for a disease pattern.
